SpeakOut began in 2011 and is a joint Macedonian-American mission project. SpeakOut in Macedonia is both a Cru High School Summer Project, as well as a Campus Ministry summer project.
Both American University and High School students(tutors) will come together with Macedonian University and High School students to reach many Macedonain students with the gospel.
You will be a tutor at the camp, helping Macedonian students develop their conversational English skills just by speaking with them. It's in these conversations that you'll have the opportunity to present the news of Christ's love and watch God use you in another person's life.

The camp is held in Macedonia, in the beautiful and ancient city of Ohrid - full of history and amazing architecture. The hotel will be Desaret. ( Google Maps Location )
Macedonia is located in the Balkan peninsula in Southeast Europe. The city of Ohrid is located in the
South-East part of the country along the lake Ohrid which is considered to be one of the oldest lakes and
biotopes in the world. All in all it's a wonderful place that you must visit!
The price for the tutors is $1400. This covers your room and full board for all nights in Hotel Desaret, as well as all camp activities. It also includes transportation from Skopje Airport to the hotel and back. Your fee also helps to subsidize the cost for around three campers to come, since the registration fee we charge our campers is less than their actual expenses.
We recommend that you have extra $100 with you for coffees, ice creams, small gifts and transportation within Ohrid.
We don't cover your flight, but we will organize for you a good transportation from the airport in Skopje to the hotel in Ohrid. And it's all covered within your project fee.
