Imagine a mission trip in a Mediterranean-like setting, investing in the spiritual lives of young people, mixed with fun, in a place rich with culture and beauty! Think breathtaking sunsets, frothy cappuccinos, and a stunning lake that inspires artists from around the world. This is Ohrid, Macedonia!
SpeakOut began in 2011 and is a joint Macedonian-American mission project. Macedonian student leaders from our local ministries will join you to share their faith, learn and grow alongside American students. Macedonians and Americans together have taken on the role of reaching out to Speak Out campers with God’s love. Since 1997, Cru has been declaring and displaying the Gospel amongst the people of Macedonia. Through Sekoj Student (Every Student) and Mladi na Pragot od Zivotot (Youth within the threshold of life), the high school and university ministries in Macedonian, Cru reaches out to students throughout the country. American and Macedonian staff members work year-round in Macedonia to organize evangelistic events, reaching out to Macedonian youth. SpeakOut is a vital part of Cru's strategy to reach students for Christ. SpeakOut is often the first contact students have with Cru.
